We are so excited about this new class offering at Art Rageous. Learn the basics of clay hand building using a variety of different types of high fire clay. You will learn how to use a slab roller to create wonderful pieces, usable pieces of art. You will learn how to build a piece using coils and pinch pots. You will also learn some sculpting and decorating/finishing techniques.
This is a 4 week class. We will meet 3 weeks in a row, take 2 weeks off and return the 4th session to glaze your pieces. All materials, are included. You will receive clay for each class. Cost includes 2 kiln firings and all glazing. I cant wait too see what we make. Finished pieces would make wonderful gifts.
A $50 non-refundable deposit hold you seat. Total cost of class is $125, remainder due at first class minus the deposit. Please wear clothing you do not mind getting soiled. Please bring a hand towel to class each week.
